When you use our site, we ask that you use the 10 Commandments and the Golden Rule as a guide for your behavior.
We do not ask that you subscribe to a particular belief system to use our site. However in order to establish the ground rules for the use of this site and because we are a faith-based site, we find that these two areas of the Bible cover the kind of behavior that we would expect you to follow when using our site.
10 Commandments
These commandments can be found in the Old Testament section of the Bible. Please see the Book of Exodus, Chapter 20 or the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 5.
Please find below our paraphrase and commentaries based on our interpretation of these passages.
- 1. God: "You will not have any gods that take the place of me." Our commentary: Keep your goals for use of this site focused on God and not on personal or church related gains.
- 2. God's Name: "You will not take God's name and use it in unholy ways." Our commentary: Hold God's name and derivatives thereof with the highest honor. Don't dis-respect God by using His name inappropriately, including exploitation of anyone using this site.
- 3. Worship of God: "You will sanctify the Holy Day." Our commentary: Set aside time regularly to commune and worship God, whether it is in an online forum or in a church building or at the beach or in the mountains. Nurture your relationship with God.

- 9. Build up Others: "You will not promote jealousy." Our commentary: Don't compare the success of your programs with other churches, but instead praise their efforts and learn from them.
- 10.Build up Others: "You will not obsess about things that others have accomplished and desire them." Our commentary: The goal of this site is to offer a place where churches can work together to accomplish more. In this site we focus not on faith differences or differences in size, number or financial status: instead we focus on what can be accomplished together!
The Golden Rule
The Golden Rule we refer to is based on the New Testament Book of Matthew, Chapter 7, Verse 12 or the Book of Luke, Chapter 6, Verse 31 in the Bible.
- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Our commentary: This verse in Matthew applies this concept within the context of the law, which includes the 10 commandments. Simply put, it is our goal that this site will be used in the most positive way possible.
